Vermilion Parish will offer several summer learning opportunities for high school students. Take advantage of these opportunities to recover credits, strengthen skills, and prepare for future success!
● Credit Recovery (Repeat Credit): June 1–29 (Edgenuity, virtual); $100 per course (up to 2 courses)
● LEAP Remediation: June 1–29 (virtual); FREE for students needing to retest in required courses (English I/II, Algebra I, Geometry, Biology, U.S. History). LEAP testing: June 22–25 at Kaplan High
● New Credit (Elective): June 1–29 (virtual); $100 (1 elective course)
● ACT Bootcamp: June 8–12 (8:00 AM–12:00 PM) at each high school; FREE. ACT test: June 13. Click here to register for the AHS ACT Bootcamp.
Important Reminders:
● Mandatory parent/guardian summer school (repeat and new credit) & LEAP remediation meeting: May 18 (5:00–7:00 PM, JH Williams)
● Registration deadline: May 23, 2026 (no late submissions)
● Transportation provided only for LEAP testing
