Effective immediately for all AHS athletic events:

For the safety of the student body and the community, no students in grade 8 and under can attend Abbeville High athletic events unless they are accompanied by an adult (18 years and older.) Students in 8th grade and under can NOT attend with a high school student serving as their guardian. All students must be seated in the stands at all times unless going to the restroom or to get concessions. At no time should students standing in groups talking or playing.

Also effective immediately there will be a clear bag or no bag policy to enter. Anyone may be subject to a metal detector search for entry. Students, you MUST BRING YOUR ID to enter. (No exceptions will be made.) THANK YOU for understanding as the safety of our students and the community is our number one priority.
